What To Expect

Here is what you can expect during an inspection and service of your Gas Hearth Appliance.

  • Inspection of initial appliance startup.

  • Checking of the Manufacturers required clearances to surrounding combustibles.

  • Inspection and cleaning of the safety screen and glass panel.

  • Inspection of the valve safety shutoffs.

  • Inspection and cleaning of the log set.

  • Inspection and cleaning of the pilot assembly and burner.

  • Inspection and cleaning of the firebox as well as the control compartment.

  • Perform a leak check of the appliance valves and connections.

  • Inspection of the vent system.

  • Replacement of embers, sand, and vermiculite if needed.

  • Receive an inspection report detailing the findings and recommendations.
